Gotta say though, I think you’re being a little pessimistic about the feuding families resolving their differences.
I mean, they have a peace treaty. There’s going to be a wedding. What could possibly go wrong?
Peace treaty? Wedding? What could go wrong? I’m reminded of my favorite quote from Daffy Duck, “What is wrong with these people, it’s like they’re just begging to be destroyed!”
I wonder who they invited or forgot to invite. I wonder who already (or during the wedding) banged the bride. And I wonder how publicly everyone is going to find out the answers and what the reaction will be.
Well, I assumed a brothel would hand out contraceptives to its workers. ^_^ I mean, I know that in a mediΓ«val society people had as many children as they could because they doubled as heirs and pension plan, but workers in the sex trade might find roughly nine months without steady income a wee bit of an imposition… unless the brothel offered alternative work.
As for my pessimism, that wasn’t aimed at the treaty. For some reason, Jhon got the job as king (with the teensy embarrassment of a whole slew of extramarital children by way of the ladies of the brothel). I’m pessimistic about his brother’s and sister-in-law’s fate… π
Unfortunately, The Madam’s mother doesn’t actually appear in the flashbacks, but judging from what we know of the Madam, I think we can assume her mother was a pretty interesting character in her own right.
Question: is the Madam a full Drow or a Half-Drow?
And if a full Drow, how did her Mum get her hands on a male Drow to sire a child with?
( I’m assuming Drow are not a common sight on the surface, anyway. No reason one who was wandering around the surface wouldn’t feel an urge and wander into a brothel, it just seems like a lot of coincidence. π )
While I hadn’t really put that much thought into the Madam’s origin, I had generally intended her to be some sort of Dark Elf(are dark elves and drow basically the same thing?) and given her mother’s sketchy sexual past, she is probably half something else. Although given the Madam’s appearance, we can safely assume that whoever her father was, he wasn’t an ordinary human.
Jhon is a real horn dog Hercules could have another labor neuter horny Jhon. He say no Herc nooooooooooooooo! works on dogs humane society and they say irony is dead chop chop.
I’m guessing Jhonny-boy was a virile young bloke… too virile for whatever contraceptive the Madam’s mum had bought for her staff.
Always nice to see feuding houses resolve their differences without exterminating each other, but I be guessin’ somethin’ went awry…
Contraceptives? What contraceptives? Ohhh… π

Is it time for the next update yet? ^.^
LOL! Good one! I hadn’t heard that Daffy Duck quote before(and I know my Daffy Duck too!)
The wedding takes place next page, so we’ll see what happens, but in my experience, weddings never seem to go off without a hitch…
Who they forgot to invite?
…
Now I’m half-expecting Maleficent to crash the wedding! XD

I was just kidding about the pessimism. Obviously something doesn’t go quite as planned(as we’ll find out next page).
Jhon may not have all that much to do with it either…
Didn’t really expect him to, to be honest. He looks happy enough to be the spare, with no ambition to advance to heir.
I’m starting to like this lady’s Mum hope she will appear soon.

And very hot no doubt.
Well, if the Madam is anything to go off of, I suspect her mother was easy on the eyes.

… Hm.
It suddenly occurs to me she might be another of Jhon’s illegitimate children… o_o
Actually, the King is not the Madam’s father. She would probably be a little more human looking if he was.
i assume john screws his brothers wife, secretly and takes his place on the throne (murder, killed in battle with another kingdom) ?
We will find out in the next two pages. Let’s just say things take an unexpected turn… π
