As we saw in the previous Throne of Games story, the King was not thrilled to have Gareth as his son in law, but Gareth has done a lot to improve his relationship with the King since. More on that later…
My guess that he tried to talk to his Sisters-in-laws about it but my gut say they refused even after he invited them to their sister’s birthday.
Unfortunately, The Sisters of Misrule aren’t very open to negotiation. Talk about in-law problems! 😉

So what kind of force has Garth assembled to recapture the ruby did he recruit the wise druid Getafit armed with a magic potion, Asterix, Obelix, Vitalstatix and Dogmatix from ancient land of Gual now France. Are they smurfs though with Balthazar, Gargomel and Hagatha that is doubtful. He could have recruited Golan the insatiable with strawberry toaster treats he probably did not recruit Sojourn or S&M gargoyles named Joachim.
And now I want/wish/hope John will do an Asterix parody chapter at some point.
