… Even in barbarian times, that can’t be something a child likes to hear.
And Sanibal: the casting couch? Really? =_=
Bandit camps aren’t very kid-friendly places, and Sharona was exposed to a lot of adult behavior at a pretty young age. Consequently, she grew up thinking the behaviors modeled by Sanibal and the rest of the bandits were pretty much normal. As we can see from the last panel, Sharona isn’t bothered by Sanibal’s less than discreet antics. In fact, she doesn’t even seem to be paying attention to it. After all, that’s just what mothers do, right?
As far as the “casting couch” goes, let’s just say Sanibal is pretty good at coming up with ways to get what she wants.
I guess Sanibal isn’t really a good mum after all & this is the first chapter that includes an epilogue.
It’s true that my stories don’t usually have epilogues, but since this one had a twist ending, I thought readers might have some questions about Sharona/Sanibal’s relationship, Sharona’s father, etc.
So I included an epilogue to hopefully answer some of those questions and hint at others. 😉
So that’s how Sanibal hires members of her gang well alpha male stud is off to great start and he knows how please Sanibal. But beware of the pink punk pixie least you lose your loins. Mean while despite Sanibal less than impressive mothering and the poor example she provides for Sharona the little girl seems happy.
Actually, in spite of having Sanibal for a mother, Sharona had a pretty happy childhood!
Killer good ending. This epilogue/prequel has really laid the groundwork for the future and added a new level of understanding to the past. This explains so much about Sanibal and her need to over up her insecurities and fears with hedonism, and how someone grows up to be like Sharona. When can we expect the next tale?
