I’m planning to follow this story with a 5 page mini-story that will serve as an epilogue of sorts and then I will launch into the next full length story tentatively titled: “Throne of Games 2: Girls Night Out.”

So the wizards do have a moral conscience – to some extent.
I wonder whether they actually knew what their dungeonmistress got up to… Did they maybe just give general orders along the lines of “keep her contained, make sure she cooperates, execute her if she is not ransomed”, only for the dungeonmistress to interpret that to mean Rosaline was hers to toy with as she pleased?
There did seem to be some distance between the guild’s upper management and its employees…
A lot depends on who the prisoner is. Rosaline’s was a thief who under normal circumstances would have been executed any way, so the wizards didn’t care too much what the Dungeonmistress did to her as long as she stayed alive and in one piece until the deadline.
With other prisoners, especially important ones, the Dungeonmistress would have been given more strict orders and would have much less latitude in what she could do.
Sharona can always give Sinabal Lenora’s gigolo brothers to dance Rico or Sinabal can always amuse herself with Bozo in string thong bikini. I think Sinabal wants Sharona who looks better in thong bikini than Bozo.
A rather interesting dénouement.
