Wouldn’t her first instinct, as an experienced warrior, have been to grab her sword when facing multiple enemies? Attacking them bare-fisted seems a bit dumb.
Unfortunately, Sharona wasn’t very close to her sword when the Eldritch Guards attacked, so she didn’t have much choice but to take them on empty handed.
