I remember Adam Hughes did some similar humor with Power Girl.
Remember how we had a chat a while back about what would happen about all the different species in Sharona’s world as time went on and it entered the modern age, like the one where archaeologists had dug up the temple of the Small Old One?
I recall you used the term ‘modern mutants’ as one of the possibilities … and now here we have a lady with super powers, who resembles Sharona in some key aspects. *winkwinknudgenudge* Makes me wonder whether Awesome Girl might be a descendant of Sharona’s, somehow. 😉
Interesting to see Awesome Girl’s bosom can just tank bullets. There’s been a thread discussing the subject of supers being bulletproof over at EGS: NP since last week, which asks the question whether it would make the skin of bullet-resistant (because bullet-proof if not possible) supers would feel different from regular human skin (tougher, less pleasant to touch), or whether it might act like a non-Newtonian fluid.
The gentleman to the lower left of the page might be able to shed some light on that subject.
I remember that conversation! While I haven’t determined yet whether there will be any connection between Awesome Girl and Sharona, I can say that it’s possible a certain “Small Old One” might make an appearance in Good Girl/ Bad Girl eventually. 😉
Awesome Girl’s skin looks and feels like regular skin, it’s just a lot more durable. That’s not to say that Awesome Girl is as invincible as Superman, for example. While Awesome Girl can shrug off regular bullets, she can’t shrug off heavy weapons(tanks, laser, nuclear explosions, etc.) so easily.
I see. Her body’s soft but tough & I’m guessing the method she acquires her power source is similar to that of a succubus due to her libido.
Interesting theory! We will learn more about Awesome Girl and her powers when the comic starts.

Makes sense, not only are their powers compatible, but no matter the universe he knows what the ladies like.

A super sex drive could be considered as a superpower … but only if it means Awesome Girl is having a lot of children, thus propagating her family line.
