Actually they’re not really even aware that they were being controlled by Engorgia(The Kharnivors aren’t particularly intelligent creatures). They’re just going off instinct as usual.
Probably not. The Kharnivors are not very intelligent(as you’ve probably noticed),impulsive creatures that squabble with each other over just about anything(food, territory, prospective mates, etc.)
Probably for the best, even for them.
If they were more of a nuisance than they already are, the surrounding human kingdoms would probably band together and wipe them out.
Fortunately, the Kharnivors pretty much stick their own territory and are only really a threat to passing travelers and people or animals who get lost in the Wastelands.
Without it, they are both on the menu!
